Update the Future

The information technology (I.T.) of a living cell far excels anything designed by Man.

Information programmed into a reliable I.T. device does not change over time. Species, organized chemicals married to life, can therefore be created as information destined to take effect in a living cell at some future time.

The biblical account of the creation is no myth – rather, self-evident masterpiece.

“These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth, when they were created; in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, and every plant of the field, before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field, before it grew ….. .” Genesis 2: 4.

The Word of God, with life forms created on one day but sometimes not appearing until days later, becomes the first book of evolution.

Since evolution was reliant on information interacting with living cells, Scripture concurrently becomes the first I.T. reference. “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament [expanse above our heads] showeth his handiwork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night showeth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world”. Psalms 19:1.

“Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs ……… .” Genesis 1:14.

Signs, like speech and language, transmit information. The information technology presumably was ‘quantum’ category. Quantum computation has not yet been developed to practical status by Man.

To illustrate the sophistication of the I.T. necessary to the unfolding of life: photosynthesis is a ‘quantum’ process. The chemistry of a beam of sunlight interacting with a plant leaf makes rocket science baby-talk. If Man could replicate photosynthesis, world energy supply would be assured.

We can’t replicate the chemistry of a cabbage.

The unfolding of life involved the biosphere, hence, the solar system. The Word of God becomes the first authority regarding I.T. and evolution – and co-incidentally speaks to our planetary home in Space. Its past — and its future.

Twenty-first century Harry Potter/Alice in Wonderland ‘science’ is currently experiencing as much success with the solar system as with cabbages.

Carbon reliant life has been with us 4 thousand million years. Minimum atmospheric CO2 required to head off total extinction is approximately 0.0002 atmospheres. Constant removal from the atmosphere through geologic processes has resulted in burial beneath our feet and our boats of something of the order of 12, repeat, 12 entire atmospheres pure CO2 or its equivalent. The major replenishment sources of atmospheric carbon gases are dry ice and/or methane-bearing extraterrestrial bodies and volcanoes.

Too many or too few incoming comets and/or volcanoes would have pulled down the curtain on life a million times – if greenhouse gases alone control global temperature.

An Alice in Worryland belief in self-propagating cabbages – and kings, if kings lean toward greenhouses with wings — deeply committed to walrus’s .. and things?

Einstein: “What I’m really interested in is whether God could have made the world in a different way; that is, whether the necessity of logical simplicity leaves any freedom at all.”

Einstein and simple might not seem compatible but here goes for the logic …….

How did life survive 4 thou. mill. yrs?
How was it unrolled (evolved)?
How are we to approach the future?
